This guidance has been produced by a working group of the Quarries National Joint Advisory Committee (QNJAC) which comprises of industry experts from varied backgrounds, the Institute of Quarrying and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
The purpose of this document is to provide a structured framework for organisations to conduct self-audits on their drilling and blasting operations to assess compliance with the Quarries Regulations 1999, other relevant legislation, and industry good practice.
