Contractor Self Audit Guidance & Self Audit Tool
This guidance has been produced by a working group of QNJAC which comprises of industry experts from varied backgrounds, the Trade Unions and HSE.
Its purpose is to assist both contractor and Quarry Operators/Principal Contractor to work together in a safe and efficient manner to the advantage of both parties, providing a structured framework to enable organisations to carry out self-audits of their arrangements to identify any weaknesses in the system that could lead to serious injury or loss of life.
Contractors are frequently at a disadvantage on any site, being, by their nature, temporary. It is therefore imperative that all parties understand the role of the contractor and how that temporary interaction will be managed to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone affected.
